Story Guide

Hi, I’m Indigocarmine. I write transformation erotica and sometimes do illustrations. I’m  interested in the choice to transform and the consequences of transformation, so my stuff tends to be pretty character focused. I’m pretty omnivorous when it comes to TFs so my catalogue here is pretty varied, but I do think smut should be fun, so my stuff generally skews voluntary or at least accepted. Welcome to my nonsense!

Hello.

Oh, hi.

Are you really doing this as a narrative-style FAQ?

Yes!

2005 called and they want their web cliches back...

WE ARE HAVING FUN!

Okay... whatever. Let’s get this over with. I see you don’t use subject tags or plot descriptors. What’s with that?

I think part of the fun of a TF story is the discovery of the thing and being surprised by the result. Putting up a TF subject tag usually gives away the ending. But I get that not everyone is as TF omnivorous as I am, so here is a FAQ to help you figure out what to read if that’s something you want.

Gotta do the things the hard way... What should I read first?

I’m biased but my current main writing project Flotsam is pretty good! It’s ongoing but will be a novel-length TF smut sci-fi/fantasy mystery that features a pretty wide array of transformations. I’d tell you what it’s about, but I think it would be better to just read the (very short) first chapter.

Okay, but what if I don’t want to read your novel?

Totally understandable! Collective is a novella length story about young Anarchist farmers having farm animal themed TFs. It's my best attempt at writing a 'standard' farm TF story. You might also like Quantum Bound, a conjoinment/multi TF story written in the mode of an 80s procedural comedy-drama. It's a story/image collaboration with the amazing KSG! If you want something shorter you could try Cream, which is a weird and comedic udder TF story, or Birding, a story about birdwatching and harpy sex.

What else is good?

The Escapist and Country House are two other longer stories that I‘m proud of. The Escapist is about a woman who doesn’t want a transformation living through a bunch of extreme TF scenarios. Country House is a classic mansion murder mystery, except the criminal is a transformist instead of a murderer. Both stories are set in the Legends of Belial story universe.

I see that a lot of your stories are set in the Legends of Belial. What’s the deal with that?

The Legends of Belial story universe is a largely genital based transformation setting that is frequently pretty extreme and sometimes body horror-y, although my stories tend to be gentler. While there is a pretty robust mythology in the setting, the basics are that there are godlike Demons who wield transformation magic, Avatars who are uplifted mortals with weaker versions of the same powers, and Alchemists who use magical demon cum to make transformative potions and elixirs. There is a whole website of other stories. All you really need to know for my fiction is that there are magic transformation potions and sometimes chaotic godlike transformation beings. I use the setting pretty minimally.

So if I wanted to read one of your Legends of Belial Story what would you recommend?

The Escapist is kind of a greatest hits of scenarios and locales in the LoB. So it’s a good primer that also works as a stand alone story. For something shorter and maybe gentler The Annual Alchemists Professional Show is a comedic farce celebrating the setting (and is actually the first story I wrote as indigocarmine). The Demon’s Night short stories are very brief but also get at the heart of the idea.

What if ‘extreme’ and ‘genital based’ transformations are kind of a turn off? Do you have anything mild and easy? Also assume I don’t like Furries.

Quantum Bound is probably the best story to try. You might also like The 12 Days of Christmas story, which is a romantic comedy set over Christmas and features a series of mostly multi transformations. It is very gentle and seasonal, like a Hallmark movie but TF smut. Both stories are collaborations with the fantastic photo-manipulator KSG who did artwork with every chapter.

Wow! THAT KSG!?

I know! I can’t believe it either! We have collaborated a bunch of times and several stories have artwork by them (which is labelled on the index page). You should look at the art even if you don’t read the story. You might want to see Caption Stories, Artshow, and Delivery.

You also have artwork by an IC.

That’s me! I sometimes do sketches of characters from my stories. Stories with embedded images are labelled in the index page. Fashion and The Serpent and The Hood have my fav drawings and are also pretty fun and sentimental TF stories. I also have image galleries with some TF sequences, and character studies.

Okay, but what if I *DO* like Furry stories?

Collective is probably the best of the animal TF stories. I also wrote a short pig-TF story that is fun and flirty called The Bath. There is also a longer story about Sharon of BEArchive fame going to work at a multibreasted anthropomorphic cowgirl Dairy Farm. It’s 95 short episodes long (or 3 long chapters) and features melodrama, hijinks, mystery, and loving references to my favourite BEArchive stories. If you want something briefer, The Farm is a short story about a farmer willing to try unorthodox methods to save her farm. I also wrote The Magic Remote at the horse farm, which is about a family using a magic remote to change their relationship with their horses and each other, but it gets pretty transgressive and intense. And there is Cream which is a weird and comedic udder TF story.

What if Conjoinment is my kink?

Then your safe bet is Quantum Bound, but the weirder Couples may also be up your alley!

What if I *LIKE* extreme TFs?

Well Country House features some pretty wild stuff. The weirdest and most baroque TF story I’ve written is the story Airship which is about travelers being waylaid by Fleshpirates and their living airship. You might also like Body Art, an experimental story about an artist who locks herself in a glass box and undergoes several rounds of (literally) randomized transformations as a performance piece.

What else you got?

Parade is an inflation and giantess story about a comical superheroine. Temptation Island is a story about a maiden becoming a volcanic island and trying not to cum. Jizza's Zoo would appeal to anyone with a zoophilic pregnancy kink. The Insurmountable Ali and Ali plays to stage magic kinksters, pregnancy fans, and is also sort of a conjoinment story. Liminal is a story about possibility and the moment before. Her Beard is a silly little thing about a recently bearded lady.

What is Belial Idol?

Belial Idol is an interactive TF story gameshow that uses community voting, collaboration with other writers, and random number generators to transform contestants vying for a Fabulous Prize! It is long and very silly!

Do you take requests or roleplay?

No, sorry, I’m too busy working on my own writing projects.

What if I’m an artist or TF writer?

I do love to collaborate! Drop me a line at indigocarmine1 at the gmails and maybe we can find something to do together? I’m usually open to edit stories if I’m not too busy.

Anything else?

I’d love it if you dropped a comment. Writing on the internet is sometimes like yelling into the void and it’s always nice to hear from readers. It would also be cool if you passed on links to any stories you enjoyed to your kinky friends.

Is anyone still reading this?

If so, thanks for stopping by! Hopefully this helped?
